franklin: excuse me, professor?
professor: who are you?
franklin: i'm franklin. i missed class last week. i ... i forgot when classes started
professor: don't worry about it! you'll just have to make up the quiz we took last week
franklin: phew!
professor: you can come in tomorrow and take it during my other class
professor: if you'd like, you can even take the test at my apartment
professor: there's this nice picnic table you could use right outside my window
professor: i can keep an eye on you while you take the test that way!
franklin: no. that's... that's ok
this is a true story. i once had to take a make-up exam and my professor suggested the same things as the prof from this comic.
