Thanks!

Just want to say thank you to everyone who said happy birthday, and huge thanks to those of you who donated to my Relay For Life team. There are some very generous people out there, and your help is so appreciated. If you’d still like to donate, you can visit this page.

Also, I entered the Beaver and Steve Guest Artist Competition, and I got runner-up! I really love Beaver and Steve, and it was fun to draw those characters. Maybe James Turner (who’s guest-tooned for us before) will let me draw them again sometime. Not that he could stop me just doing it for fun. I can do whatever I want, JAMES.

Drawing of Beaver and Steve for recreational purposes is strictly forbidden. Any attempt to produce such an illustration for fun, entertainment or ‘laffs’ will be met with immediate legal proceedings.

I am watching you Drew. ALWAYS.

By my own admission, I doodled a dinosaur-esque character that by a reasonable and objective third-party could be misinterpreted as the aforementioned “Steve” on a napkin a few minutes ago. Please expect your royalty check retroactively covering this shameful incident and two previous incidents of recreational Steve-drawing in the mail by the end of the week. Please accept this and my formal withdrawal of all statements that “whatever I want” falls fully within the set of things which “I can do”. I hope we can move forward amicably from this settlement.

James, you read our blog sometimes? Crap.

I really like you guys, and that was one of my favorite B&S strips (because of the Gasp! at the end and the way Steve pours his milk). But re: your comic of Cinco de Mayo, the word is “nonexistent.” (or, if you prefer, “non-existent,”). Grammar nerd, up up and awayyyyyy!

yay!! If there was ever a B&S and LHT mashup, the world would explode from the awesomeness. And there would have to be a rediculously long acronym, of course :)
