I myself play on single player or on a friend's sever when she has it up. Single player I'm just digging a gigantic hole in the ground, since there's a huge underground tunnel system underneath my house, filled with lots of shinies and painful lava. In multiplayer (I will admit I hacked many supplies like tnt), me and a couple of friends are working together of building a gigantic castle structure. I am a perfectionist and try to keep things symmetrical as much as possible, but when buildings are 30 squares tall, I just…..yeah. Sometimes it's just too much. On the plus side, I did manage to keep my Keep perfectly circular. Minecraft is fun times, especially when one can spawn fire and burn annoying livestock.

I prefer digging a little house in the side of a mountain, then starting my work with mines and stuff. I go looking for caves to get lost in, or I explore parts of my islands. I think most of my time will be spent in The Nether now that it's out.

But then I end up being killed by a creeper or by falling off something and I respawn on the other side of the world, unable to find my lookout tower, so I have to start over and build a new one. Haven't actually gotten around to any serious mining yet.
