NYC Burgers

My girlfriend and I just got back from Shake Shack in NYC. Those burgers are delicious! We ended up standing in line for about an hour but I think it was worth it. It was a nice day out too, so it was nice to be outside.

I ended up having the Shack Stack, which is, as described by the menu, a “sandwich of 2 cheeseburgers and a ‘shroom burger served with lettuce, tomato and shack sauce”. Tasty and filling. I also had a vanilla shake on top of that, so right now, I’m totally stuffed.

Dang … why didn't I hear of that place when I was still in NYC?? How's it compare to soup dumplings?

Indeed–where in NYC is it? I was actually in Manhattan for about a week at the end of March, but I wasn't aware of this exceptional sounding burger joint. I did, however, get to Serendipity which is a most outstanding desert spot. If you're still in New York, get to it.

Tried their Mushroom Burger last time I was in NYC and it was delicious. Interesting "road style" set up they have at the Madison Square. I wonder how will it be when they open another at the Upper West.

My local pub in SFO used serve 'World's Hottest' yet delicious Habanero Hamburgers. Sadly, it closed last January after 32 years.

Here's the link to its hall of fame http://www.habanero-hamburger.com

lol. I love NYC. I went there for senior trip, but then they made me come back to Michigan. Ah well.Someday, I shall return. Maybe. If I ever get less poor.

You think that's a trip? I live in Dublin (the origional one, in Ireland) I'll have to check that place out next time I'm on that side of the atlantic. The frozen creamsicle sounds a bit dodgey though…

how come erin walked her date home? i guess he lived closer. cute feet.

i used to walk past madison sq. park all the time, since my friend lived across the street. but I went at all the wrong times b/c there's always a huge line or none at all b/c they're closed. recently my friends recounted their Shack Stacks in all its juicy glory. imma have to wait in line next time.
