    It’s a shame that the great nation of Assadonia wasn’t permitted to take part in the games. They put their country abbreviation on the backside of the bottom part.

    I was laughing all the way through. They were Bra 1 and Bra 2– like Thing 1 and Thing 2. My husband thought I was crazy.

    Oh, and Misty May-Treanor's long hyphenated last name wouldn't fit on her bra, apparently, so they just put "May" on it. (Maybe they left off the "Treanor" because it wasn't a trainer bra…)

      Dude, I totally agree, English isn't the only language in the world! I wish I was cool like you and got offended when people talked in English, since it is after all more or less the language of international diplomacy, and second in fluent speakers only to Mandarin Chinese. Seeing as there is no way to abbreviate Brazil in Chinese, I guess its a good thing they put it in a language that a greater portion of the world could understand.

      Maybe they should start having politically correct uniforms that have all the languages in the world on them so everyone can understand. You could have the name so many times you wouldn't be able t see the countries flag or colors. Its an amazing idea really.

    I loved the BRA uniforms. Did anyone else notice the USA uniforms? They had the nike symbol on the back side of their bottoms, basically a big ole tramps stamp of "just do it".
