One of the most annoying things I’ve experienced in NYC is what people do when it snows. They all bust out their umbrellas, just like it’s raining. People pull out their huge sidewalk wide umbrellas and those silly whoa-im-totally-surrounded-by-an-umbrella umbrellas and walk around like they are gonna get soaked from a couple snow flakes. It’s so strange to see all these silly people walking around with umbrellas when all it’s doing is snowing.
Yea, it’s still precipitation, but come on! It’s snow! Snow has properties that make it totally different than rain. Maybe being from Michigan has influenced my opinion on snow…
Do you or anyone you know pull out the umbrella when it snows?

Remember that gaming site that I mentioned a little while back? You know, the one that I was working on and needed help testing? We’ll, thanks to the help of the testers (you guys are awesome!), the site is ready for everyone to use!

So everyone who is interested, go on and take a look and enjoy!

Hi guys,
A week ago, there was this awful, freak accident that happened in Michigan very near where I grew up. If you have time, read the article, but the tragic gist is that a man lost his life while returning library books. He’s survived by his pregnant wife and two-year-old daughter.
It turns out David, the man who passed away, is the cousin of one of my good friends. David’s family has set up a memorial website, and they’re accepting donations because David was the sole provider for his family. A lot of people use the holiday season as a chance to reflect on what we’re grateful for and to give back. If you have time, consider donating to this family during their unimaginably difficult holiday.
Thanks,
Drew
