Phil Collins

Phil Collins has officially retired from music =(  You can read about it here.  I would have loved to have seen him in concert and I actually had a chance about four years ago.  Someone in my girlfriend’s office had tickets and wasn’t able to go to the show, but I didn’t make up my mind fast enough and some other lucky person got the tickets and not me.

To pay tribute to him and his music, go to this comic I made about Phil Collins and listen to this song at the same time.  I synced the man in the comic to bob his head to Invisible Touch and if you didn’t know that already, then you should definitely check it out!

wow i feel like it's not often you see a musician who is not in a band announce retirement. Hope he pulls a Brett Favre

If you're referring to un-retiring, then yes. If you are talking about public penisery, then no.

    "public penisery"…lol

Wasn't a fan overall, but "in the air" was and continues to be dope.

i don't think he's really gonna fully retire…i mean look at the evidence from his statements http://bit.ly/emPHIv … he's probably still produce or something

  6. I saw Phil on his tour in support of "But Seriously…", which is probably my favorite of his solo albums. It was in Tacoma WA, and he had very recently had a very negative interaction with his ex-wife, so he proceeded to rant and rave about what a horrible person she is for at least a full twenty minutes right in the middle of the show. It was a little creepy and a little embarrassing, and kind of annoying. Still, I have loved much of his work over the years.
